WELCOME TO KIMBERLEY KASPER HEALTH & FITNESS
Why I Start My Day with Lemon Cayenne Water
For a number of reasons, I don’t drink caffeine and miss having my cup of coffee as part of my morning ritual. Decaf tea and coffee are ok but I don’t love them so I’ve started drinking warm lemon cayenne water as a replacement. With anti-fungal, immune boosting, and detoxification properties, lemon cayenne water is a powerhouse drink and a great way to start your day.
Workout Wednesday! Back, Shoulders and Arms
I am so glad everyone is enjoying my workout Wednesday exercises! Two weeks ago I shared the full body so this week I thought I’d share the exercises I do targeting my back, shoulders, and arms. I usually do this group of exercises once a week.
Workout Wednesday! Full Body Workout
So many of you have done my Sample Workout Week exercises and asked for more, so starting today I’ll be posting a weekly workout. Today’s workout focuses on the whole body, with extended time spent on legs, back, and arms.
Homemade Kombucha
While some made sourdough and others made banana bread, during our Shelter-In-Place I decided to try my hand at making kombucha. Kombucha is one of my favorite drinks, supports gut health, and if you purchase it at the store, it can be fairly expensive ($5 or more per bottle). So since I had nothing but time, I decided to give it a try. And wow, I am so happy I did.

4 Ingredient Chocolate Peanut Butter Freezer Fudge
Oh my! I thought I had hit the jackpot when I tried the seven-ingredient freezer fudge but that changed when I found this Chocolate Peanut Butter Freezer Fudge. It’s perfect for a low carb night when I’m low on calories and want a little something extra to satisfy my sweet tooth.

Low Carb Dinner: Cauliflower Fried Rice with Tofu
Monday’s are busy in our house. It’s a late day for the kids (school, soccer, and basketball), there’s homework to be done, and inevitably I’m running late from work or stuck in traffic. To top it off, Monday is a low carb day for all of us in the FASTer Way and if I haven’t planned something quick and easy that fits my macros, it simply won’t happen.
Getting a Great Night Sleep
Sleep is critical if you’re looking to lose weight or burn fat. If you’re not getting a good night sleep, you’re going to have a tough time shrinking that midsection. Why?
The Creamiest Dairy-Free Tomato Soup
There is nothing better for a cold, wet day than a piping hot bowl of soup. I love creamy soup but don’t do diary, so I’m always on the lookout for options that are healthy and dairy free. This recipe for tomato soup yields a super rich, creamy, delicious bisque.

Your Scale is a Liar
For as far back and I can remember, I always thought the scale was the true measure of whether or not I was healthy. My perception of the number the scale read was, for better or worse, how I viewed myself. Too high and I was out of shape. Just right and I was healthy (and I really wasn’t). For many, what the scale says leads to an unhealthy relationship with food and exercise. And this is something we need to stop.
